报告人简介：
Dr. Benjamin Sames studied Geology and Paleontology at the Freie Universit？t Berlin (Berlin, Germany) where he also made his PhD in 2009. He currently is a Senior Post-Doc Researcher at the Department of Geology, University of Vienna, Austria. Dr. Sames is micropaleontologist with main focus on non-marine Mesozoic (Jurassic to Cretaceous) Ostracoda of the world and their application – including collaborations with Chinese colleagues. His other interests and works span a wide range of integrated topics related to different aspects of Cretaceous stratigraphy, marine to non-marine correlations, ocean-land interactions (aquifer-eustasy), and paleoclimate. He is author and coauthor of more than 58 publications in journals such as Earth Science Reviews, Palaeo 3, Cretaceous Research, Geological Society of London - Special Publication, Paleoceanography and Paleoclimatology, PNAS and others. Dr. Sames has been secretary for the UNESCO International Geoscience Programme IGCP 609 “Climate-environmental deteriorations during greenhouse phases: Causes and consequences of short-term Cretaceous sea-level changes” (2013–2017/2018). Currently he is conducting a project on Brazilian Pre-Salt ostracods for PETROBRAS (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil).
