 研究领域:
 
        地球化学。致力于解决地质活动与地球环境协同演化过程中的关键问题。主要包括:构造运动对地球演化的影响,深时地质历史事件的成因,新生代沉积物源区的变化及其在古气候、古环境变化中的指示意义,基性岩石吸收二氧化碳的地质封存机制,裂谷的形成对层序地层的影响等等。运用到的地球化学工具包括主、微量元素含量;Sr-Nd-Pb-Hf-B同位素成分;海相地层锶同位素定年;K-Ar、Ar-Ar、Sm-Nd、U-Pb同位素定年。
